The Colony Before & After School Program

This is a licensed childcare program with the state of Texas that does accept CCMS.

Looking for a Great After School Program in The Colony or Carrollton, TX

If you are looking for a fun, sport-based after school program, please call or drop by our academy to enroll your child. Your child will be picked up from school, dropped off at the Academy where they will have a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Class and then will be directed to a quiet space to work on their homework or play board games until picked up by parents. Space is limited so get your child's name on the roster as soon as possible.

Our program is licensed with the DFPS and all instructors have passed FBI background tests. We also accept CCMS/Texas Workforce Commission reimbursements.

We are now picking up 1/2 Day Pre-K students who are 5 yrs old from BB Owen, Camey, Stewarts Creek, Peters Colony, and Independence elementary schools. Call for info on this program.

Transported After School Martial Arts Program

RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu picks up from all Elementary and Middle Schools in The Colony, as well as Hicks Elementary, Independence Elementary, Castle Hills and Killion Middle Schools. In Carrollton we pick up at Creek Valley Middle, Arbor Creek Middle, Homestead, Coyote Ridge, Indian Creek, and Polser. We provide safe transportation to our facility on the corner of Paige and S. Colony Blvd each school day during the Lewisville ISD school year. There is no extra charge for in-service days when the children are out of school all day. You may drop off as early as 7:30am and pick up as late as 6:15pm. Pack a lunch on those days and we will have two classes with one in the morning at 10am and another in the afternoon. If you have prepaid for a week and your child becomes ill, we will credit the unused portion of that week to the next week. 

We are in the Talent and Skills Business (Martial Arts)

We are a true Martial Arts School. Even though we are licensed childcare providers, we are here to teach Martial Arts. The after school program is designed to work with kids from 5 - 13 years of age.This is a week-to-week program provided as a constructive alternative to daycare, extended day at school and babysitting.

We are in the talent and skill business. The only reason to use our program is to learn the Martial Arts and its tenants that we teach: Exercise, Discipline, Respect, Manners, Self Defense and Self Esteem through earning Belt Ranks found nowhere else. These soft skills have been proven to carry over into your child's school, work, and home.

Daily Classes starting at 4 PM

Schedule:

2:50-4:00

Pick up from school Snack (not provided but vending machines will be available with snacks and drinks) Option of physical games or quiet room (provided for independent homework time or board games) We do not provide tutoring services.

4:00-5:00

Jiu-Jitsu Class for Elementary School children

5:00 - 5:45 or 5:45 - 6:30

Jiu-Jitsu Class for Middle School children

5:00-6:30

Pick-up (Quiet room is available while waiting)

Each day your child will need to come prepared with their uniform for class and be ready to learn while having fun!
